    I am now working on a R&D project on LTE and I have the impression that radio engineers should re-skilled in both the radio access and IP core network. Since it is an all-IP based network a different approach is to be taken into account. But on the radio side, everything is different since no CDMA is used anymore, rather than OFDMA. Of course, the use of MIMO changes everything, and a new strategy is to used for the deployment of LTE.
