Understand very well about Radio Propagation, Radio Network Traffic/Capacity, Radio Network Coverage, Radio Network Planning , Antenna Systems, Site Engineering, Site Acquisition. Involving in mobile radio network design like: Cell Planning, Frequency and PN Planning, Site Hunting/RF Survey, RF Measurement and Propagation Model Optimisation, Preparation of Cell Design Data (CDD) and loading to the OSS, Initial Tuning and Optimisation . Cell Load Planning (CLP), Frequency Retune using FLP (Fractional Load Planning ) a.k.a SFH.
Possess the wide range and strong base knowledge on cellular network theories, wave propagation theories, traffic calculation and estimation, penetration loss, link budget calculation, network dimensioning, and other necessary know-hows for a cellular engineer and system engineer. Possess excellent oral and written English communication capabilities and pro-active behaviour. Ability and knowledge on various PC-based software and programming languages including C, Pascal, Visual Basic, mapbasic ,and Excel Macro Experiences on various cellular network simulation tools such:
Ericsson TEMS Cellplanner- windows base (cellplanning, frequency planning).
ASSET Planning Tool (cellplanning, frequency planning) from AIRCOM/TornadoN/NetAct.
Ericsson Enginnering Tool/EET UNIX base (cellplanning, frequency planning).
Ericsson TEMS Family (Investigation, Prediction, Deskcat for network design and optimization). MapInfo / Mapbasic and familiar with Mapping theories MCOM Global Positioning System (GPS) Garmin Software, Mapsource. MSI Planet for GSM and (cellplanning, frequency planning) Pathloss For Transmission Planning
