Performs outdoor and indoor coverage verification through drivetest/waltest using TEMS and AGILENT tools for VIP, corporate and customer complaints.
Analyzes statistics, drivestest/walktest data for optimization using TEMS, AGILENT or ACTIX.
Monitors network performance through 6 KPI – Call Drop Rate, Call Set-up Success Rate, Handover Success Rate, RTCH Congestion, SDCCH Congestion & SDCCH Drop Rate – and correlate results with network events (outages, re-hosting, and network expansions).
Prepares weekly Network Performance Report for the designated area of optimization. These reports serve as reference to monitor our weekly status of the 6 KPIs.
Conducts benchmark to assess network performance as compared to other networks.
Implements BSS parameter changes, neighbor definitions/deletions & frequency retune as well as physical changes to improve network performance (HUAWEI).
Trends & analyzes SDCCH and RTCH Congestion, trigger trx upgrades, additional SDCCH allocation and half-rate activation and other network parameter modification to decongest sites with high volume of traffic.
Site Integration – Conducts drivetest to check coverage extent, call quality, sectorization and handover performance of newly integrated sites.
Site Audit – Inspection of antenna types, orientation, tilting and configuration of newly integrated sites.
Monitors & follows-up hardware faults & alarms for troubleshooting & rectification by Operations & Maintenance group.
2G and 3G BIS (Bring Into Service) – Conducts drivetest/walktest for newly on-aired sites based on the given checklist before the said sites will be officially commercialized.
Performs indoor-acceptance walktest of newly installed IBS and check if contractors meet DMPI’s network threshold.
Network Re-hosting, BSC Upgrade, Cut-over Activities - Initiated Network Wide Checking of Neighbour Lists for proper Handover, consistency checking of Cell dimensions based on as-planned, and parameter modifications to enhance coverage and quality.
Review and Request of Work Order and Access Pass - Reviews and analyzes the WORAP issued by the contractor and determine the effect of the modification on the network before approval.
