SMi reports: Discuss, debate and learn from NATO partners & allies at SMi’s Air Mission Planning & Support conference 2018

As NATO partners & allies ended 2017 by taking steps to improve air power superiority, as illustrated by exercises Blue Flag, Optic Windmill and the Spartan Series, SMi invites attendees to discuss, debate and learn from these experts at Air Mission Planning & Support in London on 17th & 18th April 2018.

The conference this year will have a unique focus on the complexity of managing varied air mission planning and support systems and key strategies, not only to procure and acquire new systems, but also how to best upgrade, modernise and improve existing platforms for modern day warfare and operations. These technological upgrades will bring the production and implementation of new integrated assets, training, updating legacy assets, interoperability in joint environments, data management by means of smart software and improved cyber security.

The two-day event will focus upon six key themes: National Updates to Air Mission Planning; Network-Centric Capabilities and C2; Strategic-Level Analysis of Planning and Support; 5th Generation Air Power and Development; Air Mission Planning and Power in All Operations; Simulation and Virtual Training for Effective Mission Planning and Support.
