Capacity Media is pleased to announce the relaunch of Capacity Balkans. Now in its 11th year, Capacity Balkans 2016 will bring together local Romanian telecom providers, Balkans Tier 1, 2 and 3 carriers and international players to meet, trade and build new relationships.

Taking place on 5 & 6 April in Bucharest, over 100 companies are expected to attend this unique platform for the wholesale telecoms industry.

Networking is key

In response to market feedback, Capacity Balkans is moving to a new venue for 2016, the Ramada Parc Hotel,to ensure we have maximum capability to offer attendees as much meeting space as possible and to enable us to incorporate new networking features. Alongside the usual private meetings rooms, exhibition stands and meeting tables, delegates will also be able to take advantage of the integrated seating areas and a Business Bar.

The Business Bar, will be the event’s networking focal point. Providing a relaxed setting for meetings, it will also be the home of the newly featured Networking Exchange sessions. These speed networking sessions will give delegates the chance to introduce themselves and exchange business cards to new contacts within 3 specific target groups: local Romanian telecom service providers, Balkans’ Tier 1, 2 and 3 carriers and international carriers.

MeetMe, Capacity’s exclusive online meeting tool, is returning for 2016 and will enable delegates to maximise their time at Capacity Balkans. By providing access to the delegate list two weeks before the event, MeetMe gives event participants the opportunity to search for potential partners, message attendees, request meetings and create their own customised agenda ahead of the event.  New for 2016 is a live-chat functionality, which will make contacting people quicker and easier, even if it is for a last minute meeting.

Personal introductions make things easy

For the first time, Capacity Balkans is introducing a Capacity Concierge service, a dedicated desk at the event where delegates can be personally introduced to the people they want to connect and do business with.

A social and fun environment

As well as formal networking and back-to-back meetings, the Capacity Balkans event pass also includes breakfasts, lunches, a drinks reception and the famous Capacity Balkans Party - all great opportunities for a catch-up or wind-down with colleagues and clients.

For the first time, the Official Party hosted by Telekom Romania Wholesale is open to all registered delegates and will offer a fun evening of entertainment and networking.

With varied networking features and attendance from the key players across the region, Capacity Balkans 2016 ensures that delegates leave with new contacts, successful business deals and stronger relationships.
