LONDON;SAN FRANCISCO;BEIJING – October 15, 2015 – Cocos2d-x, the world’s number one open source game development engine from Chukong Technologies, today announced a partnership with Bee7, the native mobile game rewarded re-engagement system - paving the way for developers to boost retention and engagement in their mobile games.

Under the partnership, Bee7’s iOS and Android in-game rewards system will be included in the Cocos2d-x SDKBOX developer toolkit. Developers using the Cocos2d-x platform can now easily access and integrate Bee7 in the early stages of building and testing their game, as part of a suite of tools. With its rewards system, Bee7 offers game makers using Cocos2d-x the ability to wrap retention and re-engagement into their advertising strategy before their game is launched.

Created by global publisher success story Outfit7, Bee7 is the in-house solution that helped grow the Talking Tom and Friends apps to 3 billion downloads.

John Rankin, Managing Director of Bee7 Limited, said: “With acquisition costs rising, developers need to stay focused on ways to keep and engage valuable players. With Bee7 in the Cocos2d-x SDKBOX, developers can do exactly this by easily integrating our in-game reward system alongside other tools, as they create and test their game.”

Kai Zhao, General Manager of Chukong USA, said: “Our SDKBOX toolkit is designed to make it simple and painless for the 490,000 developers worldwide who rely on Cocos2d-x to be armed with solutions that help make games thrive. With Bee7 in our suite of tools, we’re offering our developers a chance to solve the commonly faced headache of high user drop-off rates.”
