The release further highlighted that Beeline and WIND were recognized amongst the report's top 100 global telecom brands. Beeline was valued at $2.6 billion while Wind was valued at $1.6 billion. Djezzy saw a growth of 29 positions to come at 171, while Mobilink moved up 59 places to 201. Further, the Group's Bangladesh brand, banglalink was ranked 262, placing it in the top 300 telecom brands worldwide.

  • Italy Confers Additional Honors to WIND - Le Fonti International Awards, Milan has also named WIND as Italy's Telecommunications Operator of the Year for 2015. Commenting upon this recognition, Maximo Ibarra, CEO of Wind, stated "Winning this Award is testament to the team who have worked relentlessly over the past year to ensure that our customers are getting the best deals, service and experience possible."  

  • Impressive Historic Growth Amongst Diverse Brand Portfolios - According to Rozzyn Boy, VimpelCom's Chief Communications Officer, VimpelCom's international portfolio of brands has risen quite significantly over the past 22 years and now collectively serve over 218 million customers across 14 countries. The Company has earned and improved on a number of leading positions in the global telecoms brand rankings, particularly for Djezzy and Mobilink brands which have recently undergone a new branding exercise in their local markets.

  • Other Prestigious Recognitions - In another press release dated May 14, 2015, VimpelCom reported that it has been awarded 'Best Consumer Innovation Service' for its Digital HUB. The Digital HUB, heralded as a leading mobile innovation by Global Telecoms Business, has been developed in collaboration with Opera Software and AT-Consulting.
