Trackside antennas, fiber optic cable systems and waterproofed cable assemblies are part of the HUBER+SUHNER product portfolio for future railway connections
Global connectivity supplier HUBER+SUHNER is once again proving its extensive expertise in rail applications with its comprehensive portfolio of products on show at Railtex 2015. Illustrating the company’s comprehension for the future of railway communications, HUBER+SUHNER will showcase a wide-ranging collection of highly efficient and robust solutions for trackside and train to ground communications and many other applications that are indispensable to reliable railway services.
HUBER+SUHNER’s exhibits will include trackside and roof-top antennas, fiber optic cable systems, radio frequency cables and assemblies as well as the latest RADOX® databus, signal and power cables.
“Today’s rail transport needs to be faster, safer and much more efficient,” said Dene Tydeman, Sales Manager of HUBER+SUHNER. “The pressure on railway operators to provide added comfort and perfect services for customers is ever-increasing, resulting in more and more complex systems entering the market to help train operators meet these requirements. These also require reliable high-performance wayside infrastructure, which HUBER+SUHNER clearly supports with its products.”
HUBER+SUHNER is well known in the rail industry for its rolling stock products but with a growing number of world-wide success stories under its belt, it is firmly becoming noted for its trackside products too, offering a complete range of products and solutions for the future of the modern railway.
Recent rail project successes including São Paolo Metro, New York City Subway, Nanjing Metro, Zurich Central Station and the recently announced IPEMU (Independently Powered Electrical Multiple Units) project for Britain’s first battery-powered trains are already using HUBER+SUHNER components. They are all on display to create highly efficient and reliable connections for wayside infrastructure and applications like communication based train control (CBTC) and CCTV as well as many others.
Drawing all these innovations together, HUBER+SUHNER will be demonstrating a comprehensive portfolio of products that companies in the rail industry can use to fully equip themselves for today’s and future applications.
