Here's an interesting link if you're bored in the coming Christmas holiday. You can track the progress of the ship laying Europe's first subsea cable in a decade.
By December 14, Cable Innovator was roughly half-way across the Irish sea (the cable runs from Dublin to Anglesea in the UK).
Anyone know the names of other cable-laying vessels? I'll be looking them up if so.
