Attended the launch of Huawei's Vision smartphone and MediaPad tablet in London last night. Didn't play with the phone, but the tablet certainly seems on-par with the competition in terms of size, weight, and funcationality.
The Vision runs Android 2.3 and MediaPad v3.2, and both are spearheading Huawei's bid to step out of the shadows of operators and become a consumer brand in its own right.
However, it does face some tricky chats with Microsoft over Android patents. The US software giant has successfully chased other Android vendors - including HTC and Samsung - for license deals, and is already on Huawei's case.
What do you reckon to the devices?
